United Way Bengaluru: A Dedicated NGO working on early childhood Education
The Born Learning Campaign (BLC) is a national flagship program of United Way Bengaluru aligned with the ECCD concept of ICDS. United Way Bengaluru is an NGO that aims to improve early childhood care education and development practices in the Anganwadi centers across the country by strengthening the delivery of services.
The campaign’s reach spans across 10 states in India, including the capital, New Delhi, emphasizing its wide-ranging impact on nurturing young minds and fostering their growth.
Goal of the Born Learning Campaign
Develop Anganwadi centers in India to become SAKSHAM ANGANWADI by providing sustained and conducive learning environment for children, help children achieve age-appropriate development milestones through skilled resource, nutrition support and community ownership.
Objectives of Born Learning Campaign
To create safe & conducive learning environment in line with the SAKSHAM ANGANWADI vision of Government of India
To upskill capacity of Anganwadi Workers and helpers to deliver the ICDS services at its best for all beneficiaries
To create sustained engagement & monitoring practices to measure age-appropriate developmental milestones
Strengthen the community engagement strategies and activities
