Sabu Thomas is the Director - Human Resources at Qwest. An award winning and seasoned HR professional, his core values and passion in leadership, creativity and change has made him much sought after, in the area of HR. At Qwest – a $18 billion dollar organization, Sabu Heads the Human Resources function for its India operation across different locations.

 

Sabu is a post graduate in Human Resources and has an experience spanning over two decades, encompassing Human Resources, Organizational Development and Strategic Management. Sabu has worked in global organizations including manufacturing, IT Product & Services and Captive Centers. Sabu’s forte lies in conceptualizing and building the HR function in organizations from scratch and scaling them to newer heights. Setting up systems & measurements has always been his core strength, the expertise demonstrated throughout his career in companies like Kirloskar Toyoda Textile Machinery Ltd., Grindwell Norton Ltd. Adea International etc.

 

Sabu is a trained facilitator and a certified trainer in different training models and has done extensive workshops in areas of Strategic Leadership and Organization Development in multi-cultural business environment with large MNCs, Indian organizations, NGOs and Educational Institutions. Sabu has been a thought leader and is a key note speaker for many conferences and rendered articles in journals and newspapers.

 

Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Sabu is passionate about gardening, reading and keenly involves himself in mentoring budding professionals.
