David completed MA in Philosophy at Loyola College, Chennai  and MSW at  St. Aloysius Institute of Social Work (Autonomous) – Mangalore. He has 9 Years of experience in Social Development which includes being a Senior Executive Officer at CRY- Child Rights and You -  in Development Support Team which involved facilitating and handholding partner organisations to evolve child centric approaches. 

He also worked with Karnataka Regional Organisation for Social Service (KROSS)   handling 11 Partners spread over 4000 villages in Karnataka. He was instrumental in implementing multiple programs to bring about holistic and qualitative changes in the lives of the poor and the marginalized. 

In the past, David has been deputed as the District Resource Person (DRP) by Hassan district administration to train the Gram Panchayat members on local self governance and resource mobilization skills. He was appointed as the Member of Board of Studies (BOS) for St. Aloysius Institute of Social Work, Mangalore (Autonomous) to draft the revised syllabus of MSW. 
 
David has founded a NGO named SAMAGRA FOUNDATION which focuses on training the local communities on good governance, livelihood options and natural resource management/ organic farming etc. He has also played a key role in publishing a training manual ‘Graama’ (training/ resource  material for   community education on Panchayat Raj Institutions) and ‘Swathu- Savalattu’ (a training and resource book on government schemes for the rural  poor).
