Intuit emerge winners of United Way of Bengaluru’s Corporate Quiz Challenge 2010
INR 5 Lakh raised to support corrective eye surgeries of underprivileged adults and children

Bengaluru, June 26, 2010: United Way of Bengaluru, a volunteer led, nonprofit organization successfully conducted Corporate Quiz challenge 2010-an inter-corporate quiz competition focused on general knowledge and current affairs at Hotel Royal Orchid in Bangalore today. The competition, sponsored by MONSTER, India's Leading online job portal, saw over 75 teams enthusiastically participating for honors.  Mr. Madhav Nair and Mr. Rajib Saha from INTUIT emerged as the deserving winners finally in a nail biting finish with Mr. Suresh Vishnu and Mr. Kaustav Dutta from HP -as the first runners up and Mr. Vaibhav Anand and Dr. Shivam Krishnan from Manipal University as the second runners up. The UWBe Board members gave away the prizes to the winning teams in the presence of veteran cricket commentator Charu Sharma who enthralled the participants as the quizmaster.

The Quiz craft team of Kaun Banega Crorepathi fame did a fabuluous job of conducting the competition. Around INR Seven Lakh in cash and kind was raised through the quiz competition. INR 5 Lakh will be handed over Sankara Eye Hospital, Bangalore, for corrective eye surgeries of underprivileged adults and children.
