Afzal Sulaiman

Afzal Sulaiman is the Managing Director with Deloitte and is currently responsible for the growth and development of Deloitte's offshore capabilities in Bengaluru, India. Afzal was instrumental in launching the firm’s offshore practice in 2001. In this role, he has helped transform Deloitte's IT services delivery model. Perhaps, his biggest achievement is in integrating the offshore delivery model as a core part of the firm's broader project delivery methodology and in achieving a broad cultural awareness and acceptance of this delivery model globally.

Afzal has over 18 years of experience in delivering management consulting and information technology services. His core area of expertise is in Customer Facing solutions focused on enhancing an organization’s Marketing, Sales and Customer Service capabilities. He has successfully implemented CRM solutions for several global Fortune 100 clients within Telecommunications, Media, High Tech, and Healthcare companies.

Afzal recently moved to Bengaluru, his hometown, from the United States. He has been associated with United Way in the US through charitable contributions. and is very passionate about helping disadvantaged women and children specifically with education and in self sustainment.
